Gabriel Orozco

Gabriel Orozco was born in Jalapa, Veracruz in 1962, and currently lives in Mexico City, New York, and Paris. He studied art at the Escuela Nacional de Artes Plasticas in Mexico, and at the Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid. Orozco has been the subject of solo exhibitions at The Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, the Kunsthalle Zurich, The Musée National d’Art Moderne (ARC), Paris, and the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art (travelled to Mexico City and Monterrey, Mexico), and has been included in international Documenta and Venice Biennial exhibitions.
