Mark Steenerson
Mark Steenerson, born in 1941, studied Photography and Film at the University of Minnesota. He founded the West Bank Gallery of Photography in Minneapolis in 1966 where he showed the work of Eugene Atget, Ansel Adams and many others. He performs and records music under the stage name Alfred Sage and since 1967 he has worked as a street photographer. While his work is widely exhibited, he considers himself “the most unpublished photographer ever.”
