Paul McCarthy
Paul McCarthy, born in Salt Lake City in 1945, lives and works in Los Angeles, California. McCarthy is one of the most renowned and influential artists of his generation. His art is visceral, humorous and disturbing, dealing with the hidden,
darker side of western culture. He has worked in a wide range of media but is best known for his performance-based videos and video installations, and for his sculptures.
