Martin D'Orgeval
Martin d’Orgeval was born in 1973 in Paris, where he still lives and works.
While studying art history at the Sorbonne, he designed several exhibitions and books on the work of the French photographer François-Marie Banier, including Perdre la tête (Steidl) in 2005 at the Villa Médicis in Rome. In November 2006 he edited Le Chanteur muet des rues (Gallimard), a collaboration between F-.M. Banier and the Italian writer Erri De Luca.
Paques is the first book of his own work. The exhibition that accompanies it was presented in Rome at the Palazzo Ruspoli Stables in February 2006, and at the Museo Archeologico in Naples in June 2006. It will be on at Galerie Ghislaine Hussenot in Paris in February and March 2007.
