Peter Friedl

Peter Friedl was born in 1960 in Austria, he lives and works in situ. He has exhibited in numerous solo and group shows around the world including documenta X (1997), documenta 12 (2007), the 48th Venice Biennale (1999), the 3rd Berlin Biennial (2004), and the 2nd Biennial in Seville (2006). In 2006 a retrospective, Peter Friedl: Work 1964–2006, was organized by the Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona, and traveled to Miami Art Central and to the Musée d'Art Contemporain in Marseille. Recently his work has been exhibited at the Kunstalle Basel.
