Karin Mamma Andersson

Karin Mamma Andersson, born in Luleå in 1962, lives and works in Stockholm. She is today one of Sweden’s internationally most recognized artists. Recent solo exhibitions include the David Zwirner Gallery, New York; Stephen Friedman Gallery, London; and the Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh. She has since the Venice Biennale in 2003 participated in several major biennials, including the Berlin Biennial for Contemporary Art (2004) and the Sydney Biennial (2006).
