Simon Starling
Simon Starling, born in Epsom, Surrey in 1967 lives and works in Copenhagen, Berlin and Frankfurt. He attended the Glasgow School of Art. Starling has exhibited at the Moderna Museet in Stockholm, The Modern Institute in Glasgow, Camden Arts Centre and Fundació Joan Miró in Barcelona, Museum für Gegenwartskunst, Basel among other institutions. He has been honored with the Paul Hamlyn Foundation Award for Artists, a Blinky Palermo Stipendium from the Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst in Leipzig, and the prestigious Turner prize in 2005.
