Jerry Thompson
Jerry Thompson has been a working photographer for nearly 40 years. Largely self-taught, he enrolled as a graduate student in the Yale School of Art, where he met, studied, and worked with Walker Evans. Thompson taught at Yale from 1973 until 1980. His other books include The Last Years of Walker Evans (1997) and Truth and Photography (2003).
