Pierre Assouline
Pierre Assouline, born in 1953 in Casablanca, is the former editor of the monthly magazine Lira. He is the biographer of Georges Simenon, Hergé, Gaston Gallimard, Daniel-Henry Kahnweiler, and Henri Cartier-Bresson, to name but a few. He is also a novelist.
