Valentina Kulagina
In 1920 Valentina Kulagina, born in 1902, met Gustav Klutsis, who encouraged her to enter Vkhutemas. The two artists married in 1921. After graduating from Vkhutemas, she did poster, exhibition and book design for state institutions. After the war, she was employed as an official painter and designer. She died in Moscow in 1987.
