One Picture at a Time - Special Edition
Steidl Editions
This is the first monograph covering the five decades of Gunnar Smoliansky’s photographic career. Through his idiosyncratic style and quiet attention to the details of ordinary life, he has carved a reputation as one of the leading voices in Swedish photography. This book accompanies a major retrospective of Smoliansky’s work at the Hasselblad Center in Göteborg.
A special edition comprising a first edition copy of the book, and a silverprint, Talludden 1956 (image 158), made by the artist, housed together in a handmade clothbound box. The edition is 15 plus 5 artists' proofs. Each print and each book is numbered 1–15 and I–V.
