Hedi Slimane
Hedi Slimane was born in Paris in 1968. He studied art history at the Ecole du Louvre and completed an apprenticeship at a men’s designer house. Since 2000, he has been the head designer of the men’s collection at Dior. The Council of Fashion Designers named him International Designer of the Year in 2002. His published books have been Intermission 1 (commisioned by the curator of the Venice Biennial in 2002), Berlin and Stage.
