Marc Quinn
Marc Quinn is one of the most important young British artists. His ground breaking works such as the frozen blood self-portrait Self and the colossal marble portrait of the disabled pregnant Alison Lapper in Trafalgar square in London have entered the public conciousness and unconcious in a way rarely found in contempary art. He shows and is collected internationally. His work is in major collections, including the Tate, Museum of Modern Art New York , Guggenhiem, Centre Pompidou, British Museum, San Fransisco Museum of Modern Art.
